A Night on the Great Wall of China [2 full days]
Avoid the crowded sections of the Great Wall at Badaling and Juyongguan, and instead have the ancient
edifice all to yourself. Experience a night on the wall itself; enjoy peace & quiet, panoramic views and gaze at the stars!

Day 1 - Beijing sightseeing & Jinshanling Section
- Pick-up from accommodation in Beijing around 08:30 h (earlier/later if you prefer).
- Sightseeing in Beijing (e.g. Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, etc.).
- Drive to Jinshanling in the late afternoon to catch the stunning sunset.
- Please note: We use the new highway (toll costs included in price), not the congested, slow state roads. This will save about 1 hour each way.
- Home-cooked Chinese dinner with unlimited supply of beer, soft drinks and bottled water.
- Return to the Great Wall - your camp will already be set up. You can sleep IN or ON TOP OF a watchtower under the stars.
Day 2 - Sunrise at Jinshanling & Hike to Simatai
- Wake up to an amazing sunrise and unforgettable panoramic views over the Great Wall.
- A freshly prepared Western style breakfast will be awaiting you.
- Hike to Simatai (4-5 hours, 7 km). You do not need to rush. I will be waiting for you at the Simatai section.
- Note: If you prefer not to do the hike, I can also DRIVE you to Simatai, of course.
- Pick up at Simatai.
- Traditional Peking Duck for lunch in the town of Miyun.
- Drive back to Beijing in the (late) afternoon.
- Depending on time, stop at the Olympic area to see the OLYMPIC STADIUM & AQUATIC CENTRE.
- Drop-off at your accommodation / airport around 18:00 h.

- Prices INCLUDE taxes, all transportation, petrol, road tolls, parking, dinner (and all drinks), breakfast, lunch,
and camping facilities (sleeping bag, camping bed, flashlight), and admission to Jinshanling section.
- Prices EXCLUDE admission to Simatai section and all other meals.
- Payment in full at the end of service and can be made in RMB, USD or EUR.
- No credit cards, please. A deposit is not necessary.
