The Great Wall at Mutianyu
The Great Wall at Mutianyu is located 70 km northeast of Beijing. It has the largest scale construction and best quality
of all sections of the Great Wall.
A cable car is available. Another feature of the wall at Mutianyu is the wheeled toboggan ride down from the wall on a winding metal track.
It is possible to combine the trip with a visit to the Hunag Hua Cheng section.
For those of you who would like to experience the sunset/sunrise at the Great Wall, an overnight stay can be arranged.

Mutianyu & Beijing Sightseeing [full day, 8-10 hours]
- Pick-up from your accommodation around 08:30 h (earlier/later if you prefer).
- About 1.5 hours drive to Mutianyu section (depending on traffic). We can stop for breakfast along the way if you like.
- Visiting Mutianyu for about 2 hours (cable car access).
- Drive back to Beijing.
- Sightseeing in Beijing (e.g. Olympic area, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, etc.)
- Drop-off at your accommodation around 18:00 h.
